In recent years, Lola has distinguished herself as a Student Defense Advocate, providing comprehensive support to students at major universities, graduate programs, and medical schools nationwide. Drawing upon her legal training and deep understanding of institutional policies, she has represented students facing a wide range of academic challenges and disciplinary proceedings. Her work includes guiding students through complex reinstatement processes after suspensions or dismissals, advocating for the correction or removal of inaccurate or unjust academic records, and ensuring that students with disabilities receive appropriate accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
